ER is for emergencies I understand there are more serious problems, such as patients possibly having a heart attack or other serious problems. As to why a bleeding head is not a priority over heart attack or whatever else may be going on in the back, my bf went in needing to be stitched up which there is only a 4-6 hour window to get the stitches done otherwise it scabs over & cannot have the stitches anymore.. the triage nurses not trained to do stitches which was very shocking to me, so he was made to wait for a doctor lik... read more
