Great choice for procuring a trailer hitch for my Ford Escape. Chris the manager was outstanding in his customer service as well as his high knowledge to address my small issues with getting a hitch. He clearly and concisely, left no misunderstanding with his explanation of all that was required for my vehicle. Service was quick and ahead of schedule the day of my service. I said the last time I bought something from this Cap-it (which has been a lot - completely outfitting 2 trucks) that I was done. But, I didn't listen to myself and bought a set of roof racks - again. I was offered express shipping for one of the parts that they did not have in stock and agreed. It was anything less that express - over a month! I mentioned that at pick up and was told that Thule made, especially for me, that one part and that is why it took so long. Stay away from the truck canopies from Cap-it in Campbell River. Ordered a Cap-it brand canopy for my Tacoma, and it’s been one issue after another. First the colour was way off (not a little off, it looked like it was for a different truck). Then it leaks through the roof from the “factory” Thule roof rails. Absolutely terrible build quality for a $5k canopy. Maybe I just got a lemon, but not a good experience at all.
