Learning to row with CRI was an incredible experience! Our instructor, Jess, got us on the water and rowing quickly. We had a blast and left with a solid foundation. I realized the full value of this training six months later on the Grand Canyon. Jess planted so many seeds for more advanced techniques that I was able to use and incorporate on much bigger water. Great experience taking a private rowing clinic with CRI. Alan was very helpful in communicating and preparing us prior to the class. Jess L is a phenomenal instructor, patient and thorough .. we learned so much, thanks CRI team!
Such knowledgeable and patient instructors + great company on the river. I learned a ton with Jess and she let me push myself outside of my comfort zone on the oars. Could not recommend CRI or Jess enough!
Not enough good things to say about this company, I’m glad I’m not the only one to get to share my 5 star experience! My partner and I are invited on a grand trip this fall and being newer boaters we wanted to get a little bit more experience and instruction on bigger than our home water, water. I had a full day private kayak lesson with Alan. I cannot recommend him enough for knowledge, professionalism, tips & tricks, pace of instruction, patience & encouragement. We worked on foundations, rolls, strokes & made a plan for the future. I have a rowing clinic next month & will continue to book half-day kayak lessons with Alan to build my knowledge & refine my paddling. Going into the lesson, I really did not know what to expect, but it truly exceeded my expectations.
