I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Canyon Kitchen. I was married here in 2019 and spent a substantial amount of money celebrating one of the most important days of my life, so I expected a much higher level of hospitality. There were only three of us. We weren’t asking for a table or a special accommodation we simply wanted to have one drink at the bar before heading to our next destination. Rude staff, specifically Audrey. She was unwilling to accommodate our large group, even though we reached out by email in advance. The interaction was dismissive and left us feeling unwelcome. Very disappointing, especially after making the effort to plan ahead.
My family, friends, and I have been loyal guests of Canyon Kitchen for years, which made this experience especially disappointing. I reached out by email to make a reservation and received a response from Audrey stating that they could accommodate us at 5:15 p.m. At no point was it made clear that I needed to reply again in order for the reservation to actually be secured. We've always had great experiences at Canyon Kitchen. As locals, it's one of our favorite places to bring friends and family when they're visiting from out of town. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the food is consistently excellent, and the service has always made us feel welcome. It's one of those special places that never disappoints, and we look forward to coming back again and again. Highly recommend!
