Dave was great to deal with and did a great job sewing the the seams on my Bennington pontoon bench seats. He took the seats out , took them to his shop, sewed the seams and reinstalled on my boat. He also told me seams failed because they were not sewed properly with the right thread. He warranties his work too. Looking forward to getting pontoon back on the water with all good seating. My neighbors in Somers Point recommended him also. Highly recommend Dave Yanni.
This con artist took our money and split. Did not do any of the work we discussed or event hit a months ago timeline. Dave Yanni is excuse after excuse - and the work could have been down by now. My seats have been with him for months on end and every week it’s another excuse. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS OR GIVE THIS MAN CASH. It is sad that I have to take time out of my workday to chase Dave Yanni and now I feel I will never get my seats back or my money.
Needed some zipper repairs on my enclosure. My previous canvas shop is no longer around. Was looking to get repairs done before putting the boat away for the winter. Google search showed few around anymore. One name stood out as I remembered it from friend's who got a new enclosure some twenty years ago. The work then was great. Dave did an excellent job recovering my 9 year old Robalo 207 rear seats. Sections of the original seats turned to a dirty goo. Dave gave a contract that stated the approximate start and end times and we both signed it. He did mention that for boats and other outdoor situations that weather conditions could cause some delays; understandable. Overall, wonderful job and friendly service.
