What a great place to relax and unwind. We only stayed a few days but could have easily stayed a week. Canungra valley getaway is a great cosy retreat with multiple places to sit in the winter sun or in front of the many fire places. The host Deb really made us feel welcome and has created a great experience putting on display historical photos and memorabilia while creating a cosy comfortable vibe. Can’t wait to go back in summer and spend time in the crystal clear waters on the creek.
My family have enjoyed a wonderful reunion and holiday at this well appointed, relaxing, farm setting which accommodated seven of us easily. We loved the birdsong and creek sounds, plus the views of the picturesque gardens. Also impressed with the riverside gazebo + kayaks we could access by car. Highly recommended!

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. The photos of the view do not do justice to how wonderful the view of the mountains are, the river (and the sound of the river that you can hear from the house). You can also see the river, the cows, the birds, trees, it is really beautiful and totally relaxing - that is if you stay longer than we did. Three nights was not enough to get the benefit of this huge old queenslander with wrap around deck, farm style kitchen, two wood fire heaters, gas heaters, numerious places to catch... read more
