The Cantuta Inn Bed and Breakfast is awesome in a great location. My husband and I went there for our baby moon and we were well received, the owner knows everything in the area and gave us some great tips. There are two restaurants literally across the hotel, we tried the non-vegan option and it was great. The breakfast offered as simply but delicious, we loved! 🥰 it’s close of everything (Lower Town, The Point, and National Park).
Checked out this morning, mixed review here so I will break it down into pros and cons: Pros: -Rooms are very clean. -Nice, light breakfast (not a lot of food but adequate and healthy) - short drive / 15 min walk from historical area Cons: - Squeaky uncomfortable beds. - Hostess does not accommodate for issues (explained below). - House kept at 79 degrees overnight. Really great hosts who told us great places to visit around the area and so welcoming. Rock drove us to pick up our hire car too. Beautiful comfy rooms and lovely to sit on the verandah and enjoy stunning Harper's Ferry. Would highly recommend. Thankyou
Satisfying and healthy breakfast, excellent hospitality and walking distance of everything in town; very idyllic. Will definitely stay again when coming through West Virginia
My wife and I did a weekend getaway and stayed in the Shallows Room. The accommodations were excellent and comfortable. This room is a nice, large room on the first floor. We were able to watch the community's Christmas Parade from our room! The host was very nice and attentive to our needs. She served us breakfast both mornings we were there. The off-street parking behind the Inn was nice to have. The Inn is about 3/4 of a mile from the main downtown Harper's Ferry area. The walk is a bit hilly, so expect to do a few uphill... read more
