risotto had 5 pieces of small sausage so it ended up tasting like rice pudding focaccia is dry and pappardelle is just ok
Outstanding food. Friendly, welcoming and efficient service. As the restaurant filled up, the noise level got very high, requiring raising voices to hear each other. This was the only negative of our dining experience.
The food and service at Cantinetta were very good, so it’s disappointing that I won’t be returning or recommending because of the restaurant’s 3% “transaction surcharge”..."for the convenience of using the card of your choice.” I only became aware of this charge after we had already left the restaurant. I checked my OpenTable reservation and Cantinetta’s website homepage and could not find the fee disclosed in either place.
