TL;DR: The renovated units look attractive during a tour, but once you sign the lease, the leasing office becomes functionally useless. When an actual problem arises, their response is repeatedly some version of: “There is nothing we can do about it.” Canterbury advertises itself as smoke-free, and the lease prohibits smoking. Despite that, smoke from the unit above repeatedly entered our apartment through the vents and filled both bedrooms and the bathroom. Stayed here with my partner and honestly, the maintenance could be better it doesn’t feel like an urgency when called. We've called regarding the in-unit washer and dryer along with the shared laundry room and we were told that the matter would be looked into however the problems still remains. We’ve also made several complaints to the property manager named aleksandra regarding mold in the unit as well and we weren’t really taken seriously. I’d recommend coming here at your own risk, the cons outweigh the pros.
