Despite the move to new premises this surgery continues to be neglectful and impossible to communicate with. Over a number of years they have treated my elderly Mother appallingly. Now that she is in a care home the lack of engagement and diligence is still ongoing. They continually fail to show up for scheduled blood tests, demonstrating a lack of regard for my Mothers mental and physical well being. They prescribe medications without any visits to the care home. The treatment she receives is often ineffective. Could never ... read more
Spent 3 months trying to get through/get an appointment. Emailed and extremely unhelpful. Not good when working hours don't fit with their e-consult window. During the years since a few practices amalgamated, never once saw a doctor. Had a telephone consultation but inaction landed me in hospital on a drip. Another occasion, needed v minor treatment...told to go to A&E! Extremely poor. I work in health care and can't believe the poor responses. May be OK if you're able to get through the door. Voting with my feet.
Stroppy, arrogant receptionists. They’ve implemented their ‘e-consult’ system which is basically to deter you from seeking an appointment. But the problem (or not!) is that it doesn’t work properly, sending users into a doom loop of NHS login with no concluding direction. Calling them is met with snark, snorting (literally), loud sighing, sarcasm (no ‘thank YOU very much’) and more passive aggression. So rude and untrained to deal with the failings of their own system. I’m done, changing GP now.
Love the new e consult system. Did it at 8:30am, had a phone call a couple hours later and an appointment at 11:20. Seen only slightly late and had a wonderful GP (can’t remember his name!). Free Parking available. Clean and calm waiting room. A play table which my son enjoyed. (Disclaimer it was for my young child so I assume he would be prioritised)
Drs are fine, but the receptionists have no medical knowledge, so they will inevitably say the dumbest stuff. This is not a job anyone who knows how to hold a phone can have. They need to understand basic medical terminology and how to determine the severity of situations to properly assist patients.
