Canterbury House is an independent assisted living facility established to provide care to individuals who are having difficulty living independently, but do not need the daily nursing services provided by the traditional nursing home. We provide one on one personal care to residents in a safe "home-like" environment. Canterbury House is here to serve those not quite ready for the nursing home setting, but require caring supervision. Each of our residents has unique needs that our staff enjoys catering to.

My grandmother lived at Corkran House and then moved up to Canterbury House for several years. She had a beautifully decorated room in which she said she was quite comfortable. She had a diverse meal plan and did not complain about the food. She got to know the employees really well and they readily shared their life stories with her.
