I had an excellent experience with Canterbury Caravans. The team was genuine, honest and very personable throughout the whole process. It is rare to find such down to earth old school service where you feel truly looked after rather than just another customer. I really appreciated their straightforward advice and the time they took to make sure everything was clear. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and friendly service.
Drove 40 minutes to Canterbury Caravans yesterday to look at a van I had spotted on their website. Went into the office and asked if we could look at the van. Was told this is not possible as there is no Salesman there. Explained our situation and was told bad luck basically. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. No offer to get someone to call or anything, just something about staff cuts. We bought a High Clere 22’ 6 “ which was highly recommended by Laura and it has been fantastic. David showed us through the van highlighting all its features and said to call anytime we have an issue. Which fortunately we haven’t as yet. One reason we chose to buy from Canterbury was they have their own service department and also do insurance work. My recent experience with Canterbury Caravans' service department after purchasing a two-year-old caravan has in my opinion been nothing short of disastrous. I felt their approach to customer service was unprofessional, aggressive, and negligent which has left me deeply dissatisfied. I will never deal with Canterbury Caravans again and strongly advise potential buyers to proceed with extreme caution, paying close attention to the quality of pre-delivery inspections and the potential for poor after-sales service.
