I contacted Keith for a consultation about a Burr Oak on my property that had co-dominant limbs with a crack in the junction of the 2 limbs. He first recommended waiting and felt it wasn't in imminent danger of splitting. A year later I asked him to return when I noticed the crack had progressed significantly. Keith recommended putting a heavy duty strap below the junction of the 2 limbs and tying a cable between the two limbs further up the tree. The first thing you'll notice about Keith is that he LOVES trees. He loves talking about them, climbing them, and taking care of them. Before he spent a day in our yard, he happily talked to me on the phone at length about what trees we could and shouldn't get to replace a dying ash. He spent hours climbing and trimming a large maple that wasn't doing well in the hope that it might recover. Everyone else told us to just cut it down. Keith did a great job with a big job. He was prompt, easy to work with, and charged a fair price. He was able to save a very large tree that we thought was going to have to come down completely.

Canopy Connections was wonderful to work with. Keith's knowledge and appreciation of trees is inspiring, and it's certainly fun to watch him work in the canopy!
