What a wonderful experience Neil gave us. Not just canoeing The Thames at Windsor, but exploring the lesser known back waters off the main river. Knowledgeable, professional and personable is how I would describe him.
Has the loveliest afternoon kayaking! I'm surprised it wasn't busier, such a lovely activity to do in Windsor and the rates are reasonable. Neil and his team are so friendly, we had the best time and a 10/10 Thai restaurant recommendation 😁
We had an amazing experience with Kayak Adventures near Windsor! The scenery was stunning, with beautiful views of the castle and plenty of wildlife along the way. The owners are absolutely lovely people, extremely kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s a perfect activity for families, and our kids had a fantastic time too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out on the water!
This was our first time canoeing, so we took a shorter route which was 1 hour. It was tricky to steer around the trees in the canal and when we got to the Thames boat traffic was a bit intimidating but we managed it. Also you can get a beautiful view of the Windsor castle from the river on your way back.
From start to finish it was a great day out! Being a little disorganised I had to email Neil at 10pm the previous night to confirm the time of my booking and to my surprise I got response straight back, it definitely helped me sleep better. We arrived as directed 15mins early to be taken through the routes we could take with right timings and the best views.
