The people at CCO were super helpful. Staying at their bunkhouse the night before our trip was a lifesaver. We will definitely be going through CCO next time we go back to the BWCA.

Canoe Country Outfitters are the real deal. I’ve taken all kinds of BWCA trips through them since I was a kid for the last ~20 years. Bob, Mark and Brian are awesome. They’re all super nice, down to earth and have given us some great recommendations. We’ve stayed in the apartment above the shop in Ely, the ‘cabin’ rooms next door and the bunk house up on Moose Lake - all were great and reasonably priced. Just stopped to look at some things in the window. Nice store with some unique items to browse at. Everyone seemed friendly & willing to help. Store appears to a have a lot of maps & amenities for canoers/campers.
This is our go-to for our yearly BWCA trip. Great service, awesome amenities and some of the friendliest people you'll meet in Ely. Highly recommend using them for all their services to make your BWCA trip top notch!!!
