Waited 40 minutes because the Receptionist failed to check me into the system when I presented on arrival. I clearly stated my name, appointment time and the Doctor I was seeing. The receptionist neither checked me in and I was later told that when the Doctor questioned the Receptionist whether I have arrived, the Doctor was told I had not attended, despite being the only person in the waiting room at the time.

Drove to the surgery today for a scheduled appointment. Sign on the door says the closed due to power failure. I’m sure there’s a back-up system that could have been used to contact patients to advise. The automated message still plays when calling. Poor communication.
My family started attending this local practice five years ago. We have always been able to book an appointment to see a doctor within 24 hours or less. We usually book Dr Devika, a wonderful GP, on the Health Engine app so she is now familiar with our family history. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. This practice uses very affordable mixed billing for appointments while bulk billing is available for pensioners.
