Why only two stars for this wedding venue? Here’s my review for my son’s wedding held on 12/13/25. We held both the wedding service and reception there. Pros: 1. The Court Yard was set up nicely for the service. The small number of staff required for the set up and take down were efficient and unnoticeable. 2. My October wedding at Cannon Green was an absolute dream. Eden and the entire team were exceptional—kind, flexible, and genuinely excited to help make my vision a reality in their already-beautiful space. After touring a few different venues in Charleston, we knew Cannon Green made the most sense for us! It was the perfect size for our 85 guests, and the courtyard was a beautiful space to have the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I felt secure knowing there was a good rain plan, as they have a custom tent that fits over the courtyard. There was a chance of rain the week of our wedding, but we ended up not needing it! We held our 85-person wedding at Cannon Green in May 2025, and it was the perfect venue. The courtyard was a beautiful space for our ceremony and cocktail hour—highlighting all the charm of a classic Charleston indoor courtyard while also minimizing city noise so the events still felt intimate. I cannot say enough amazing things about Cannon Green. I had my wedding at CG and received 5-star service from start to finish. The staff is absolutely phenomenal with a special shoutout to Autumn. Her efforts and attention to detail was more than I could have ever imagined. Our guests especially loved the ambiance and food that was served. If I could give CG 10 stars I would!
