Was there for an operation
Just spent upwards of four hours in the waiting room and didn’t get to see anyone. I get that the healthcare system is under stress, but an estimate of the wait time would be nice when it’s that long. I also understand that whoever has the most serious injuries/illness should get treated first, but two people who hadn’t even been waiting for an hour got in before me… and I can’t say whether or not their injuries were serious, but they didn’t look to be in discomfort to me. Went to the ER for a ruptured ear drum late at night. Professional and courteous help received from the intake, the nurse, and the doctor. Very short wait time. The doctor was quite emphatic, took the time to listen and understand. The nurse was kind and skilled. She administered a needle and I didn't react. (Normally needles make me nearly faint) While I generally loathe going to any hospital, this experience was as painless as possible. Many thanks to all the staff for being excellent 🙂
