We were traveling from Korea when my mom suddenly suffered a severe vertigo attack and had to be taken by ambulance to Canmore Hospital. It was a very frightening moment for our family, but from the very first interaction the staff made us feel reassured. Every nurse and doctor we met was truly amazing—so caring, patient, and attentive to every detail. If you forget your health card, there is a 50% chance you will be charged. Literally depends on which front desk worker you deal with. Some don’t know how to use the system properly and are rude about forgetting the health card, even if you are barely able to walk. Went 3 times in the same month I was charged the 2nd time because the lady didn’t know how to look up my info correctly, and was extremely rude right up until I said I was just going to leave, then I was treated well somehow. Quite day on Canada Day, barely anyone in the hospital very quiet inside before the parade started down town. The doctor wouldn’t take the time to listen to me cut me off several times when I was speaking.i left with a cracked rib obviously there is nothing that they can do. But I didn’t need to be spoken over and not listened to.
