A great experience from start to finish. Our host, Derek, was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. For a novice like me, I never once felt like I was out of my league. Plus, the VIEWS from the river were truly incredible. I'd give 6 stars if I could!
Derek and his wife were amazing. It's an accessible trip, so you can absolutely bring the family, but even if you're a canoe/kayak veteran, the views are 100% worth it (and you'll still learn something new anyway). It's sightseeing, a guided tour, a training course, and a canoe trip all in one. Incredible.
The wife and I took a guided tour of the river with Derek who was fantastic. Derek's knowledge of the area was outstanding and very informative. Derek was an accommodating and interesting guide and the float was an amazing way to see The Rockies. Did the tour with a couple of hesitant paddlers yet the canoes were super stable and all had a great time. Highly recommend. Thanks again!
I would give 6 stars if I could. Beautiful day, beautiful paddle, wonderful guide. Highly recommend. Myself and my 78 year old mom went down the Bow with CanoeCanmore today.
