Canine-Assist are an excellent organisation to help you work out options for having an assistance or therapy dog for various conditions including PTSD. They provide practical advice and when you are ready to commence, excellent support in commnecing the journey.
We first met Richard in February of this year, and not long after began our Canine Assist journey. Richard has been there to answer every question we have, and to reassure us with every concern we have brought forward. Our daughter is excited that next year her Autism Assistance Dog will join our family. And we are thankful to be able to watch the journey of the pups as they learn and grow.
Since meeting Richard from Canine Assist in 2020 I have always found him to be professional, welcoming, highly knowledgeable about canine training and an excellent assistance dog trainer. Richard has often helped myself out with even the smallest or biggest canine training question. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canine Assist to anyone that is looking for a Canine trainer or an Assistance Dog trainer. Or for anyone wanting to be involved in the Canine Assist Assistance Dog/puppy raising program.
