The homes are beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. Now, just because I said the homes are beautiful doesn’t mean it’s high quality. The superintendent doesn’t do anything except drive around babysitting cars parked on the grass, it’s hysterical. Some of the homes lawns are terrible and poorly maintained. The electrical work could also be better. There is still a stop sign that needs to be fixed, which was hit a while ago. Overall, D.R. Horton has nice homes but Cane Place is one place I would avoid.
Love the proximity to I-10 and it being Zoned for Mire K-8. Chance is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Really appreciate everything he does on the sales side.
The superintendent should be more actively involved in overseeing the workers to ensure high-quality work and minimize issues. However, the community as a whole is pleasant. If you're considering purchasing a home in this neighborhood, utilize the warranty that comes with it.
