We lived there until the neighbor guy who lived above us, broke into our apartment in the middle of the night and attacked my adult daughter. Apparently Candlewyck doesn’t do background checks as this guy was 26 and had 6 priors before this one. What did management do? Absolutely nothing until 4 days later and I contacted Zidans. Then we got an email saying, ‘If you need to talk to someone, we’re here’. We’ve moved out and so did he...to a prison cell in Jackson.

I’ve lived at Candlewyck for going on 13 yrs now. I’ve seen it really change over that time. It used to be a quiet, low crime, well kept community. Lately, I feel the opposite. The past few years it has increasingly gotten worse. Most recently, my 30 yr old refrigerator broke and was needed to be replaced. They treat you like crap once you actually live there. It’s good for cost but not for your mentality or your physical health. The managers refuse to answer my friend’s calls and she’s lived there for over a year. Disgusting service
RecommendedTina is the best property manager! She is dedicated and wears the hat for SO MANY jobs!!! Candlewyck better pray they never lose her!!
Our entire building smells like weed. We've complained multiple times about children "hot boxing" the laundry in apartment 302 and they refuse to do anything about it.
Candlewyck has been nothing but issues. They let people smoke in the buildings and they are not very courteous when it come to people having children and their events. My daughter was taking a nap and they were blasting music right outside our window. They wouldn’t even move the music closer to the office.
BTW if you see a black loud pickup truck with a giant confederate flag in the back, do not be alarmed, It is just the new security person they've hired. This place really looks nice on the outside. However, the inside looks and feel like it is stuck in 1981 but don't worry, you will pay 2020 prices.
