Nice clean rooms and reception area with friendly staff. Good free breakfast that would satisfy most guests. Room was large, but with a large empty space because it was poorly furnished. We had one recliner for casual furniture, and it was broke and wouldn't recline. Very disappointing.
I have got to say being a traveler and saying and some top tier five star hotels one thing that was sometimes missing was the camaraderie the embracing and feeling like a home away from home and different ways. Well this establishment provided such an Embrace of each and every one of their guests. Have stayed here several times. Location, location, location. Several good restaurants and a Publix within walking distance. Downtown Safety Harbor in one direction and downtown Dunedin in another, each about a 15 minute drive. Plenty of free parking. Staff are always helpful.
Me to the lady at the front desk "where can I get ice?" "Oh, there's an ice machine in your room, in the freezer" "There's no ice in it" "Yea we're not allowed to turn them on, it's a health thing" So, no ice.
We stayed for several days as our home is still being renovated after Hurricane Helene. All the staff were very nice but we have to single out one staff in particular. Shannon B.
