I recently toured Candlestone Assisted Living and Memory Care, while searching for the right place for my aunt and uncle, who are planning to relocate from out of state. Candlestone is a place where the employees care about the residents. They prioritize having fun in a comfortable environment. The daily meals and event preparations are top notch.
My mother has been comfortable in her apartment and over the past 6 months has been able to make it more “homey “. She repeatedly tells me “the ladies “ all treat her well. She enjoys their banter back and forth and sense of humor. Laundry has been a concern and this past month mother does her own. Meals are ok and she particularly likes their banter delivery of breakfast to her room!! Director isn’t around and not sure who replaced the previous Director?!?
My mother (95) has been a resident of Candlestone for 7 months now and has enjoyed her one bedroom apartment with a walkout patio (that she is able to access with her wheelchair. She is complimentary of the food and goes to the dinning room on a daily basis. She also partipates in some of the many activities they have on a daily.
Candlestone is amazing! They offer a family-like atmosphere and there is always something fun and exciting to do! I love how involved the community leaders are and how passionate they are about the residents!
