We booked a king suite for 07/03 to 07/07. The suite was very roomy, clean, quiet and comfortable, The breakfast provided every day from 6 to 9 was good, and between the waffles, milk, juice, hard boiled eggs, muffins, donuts, and cereal, it was quite sufficient. There is no pool, but for our needs, this was a great place to stay!
This is like finding Shangra-La in the middle of a shantytown. This is definitely "drive-thru" country and the primary reason to stop here is because you just can't plumb drive no more. But what a find!The rooms are enormous - more like a suite - and very comfy bed. Welcoming lobby. Decent continental breakast. This was an inexpensive place to stay for a last minute weekend trip. It wasn’t absolutely terrible, but it was a bit rough around the edges. The room was very large, but the furniture and carpet were old, stained and tatty. The mattress was similarly quite worn. The sheets were clean as was the bathroom. There is a large patio area behind the hotel with a gazebo overlooking a pond. The gazebo is as worn as the rest of the place, with loose boards and a rusty picnic table.
