I had the best experience with Candlebox Kayaking! I was excited to try white water kayaking but definitely a bit hesitant at first. Matt and Lukas's clear instruction and demonstrations, coupled with their contagious enthusiasm and obvious mastery of the sport, immediately put me at ease and ensured I came away from the experience with new skills and confidence as well a memory that will last a life time! What an awesome day we had with the folks at Candlebox. If you never thought it would be possible to kayak out to a white sand beach on an uninhabited island and then be treated to a pop-up 4 course meal, these guys will show you that it is! Thanks to Matt and his team for such a wonderful day!
I can't say enough about my experience with Matt and Uli. This was my first time in salt water and only my fourth time in a kayak (2nd time solo) and was somewhat nervous. The area that we paddled reminded me very much of paddling around the 1000 Islands from Gananoque to Mallorytown. Lunch on the white sandy beach and Caribbean blue waters of Mouton Island was next level. Almost all the food was made from scratch and accommodated many dietary restrictions. I highly recommend doing this when you visit Nova Scotia.
Took a whitewater kayaking course with Matt and it was wonderful, quality instruction and gear. Made the experience very enjoyable. I would recomend to anyone
