We got all the tapes all were delicious great service.
We were really looking forward to this experience, especially given the price point and the reputation this restaurant has online. Unfortunately, it fell far short of what we expected from a $450+ per couple dining experience. The restaurant used to be located in a charming cabin, and I think that atmosphere is still heavily reflected in the photos and marketing online. What an unforgettable experience, Chef Owner Connor met us at the door with a friendly welcome and invitation to ascend upstairs to their reception area for drinks in the game room or cigar bar while his staff set up the first course. He came up after a bit to introduce us all to their story and history. When all was set in the dining room we all descended to find out asigned seats at the long family table. Last night we celebrated our anniversary at Candle in the Woods. It was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our special day. The Chefs lived up to their reputation again. The owner really makes the dining experience enjoyable. It wouldn't be the same without him.
What an incredible treat! Tapas Thursday offered a great reason for girls' night out. Delightful to have such unique dishes and discover this amazing blend of chef originality and attention to every detail. Connor, owner and head chef, was so gracious and made us feel like visitors and not simply customers. Highly recommend and look forward to the next time!!
