This place was gross! We stayed in room 12. It stunk and the floor was filthy. I had to buy disinfectant, a candle and room spray to handle it because I had already spent my money and likely there were no rooms available anywhere. The gentleman at the office was nice but room was awful!
I got GREAT service from Kanu--who treated me like a friend of the family. He let me store my luggage there early before my room was available (when I explained I was traveling with a lot), and he was extremely helpful with answering questions. Yes, the Candle Bay Inn is next to an adult "lounge" area, but that's one of the reasons it's so affordable, I guess. Its location is convenient to the Del Monte Beach and also places like Safeway Grocery Store, Red's Donuts, Angelina's Bakery, and of course Denny's that's right acros... read more
