Went in for strep throat.. Got diagnosed with being fat.😂🫣 She wouldn’t stop going on about my weight even though I have lost 30 pounds naturally and all she could say was “Don’t gain”. And tried to tell me what to do with a prior diagnosis even thought my main medical advisors are treating me a different way. Something that is SPECIFICALLY RELATED to my diagnosis. Way to be encouraging for your patients. You don’t know what they go through and don’t stick your unwanted opinion where you shouldn’t.
I went from 5’10” and a very unhealthy, 130lbs to 5’10” and a healthy 160lbs (FAR from fat) and actually within normal weight on the BMI chart and all this lady wanted to do was focus on my weight. I’ve heard the same thing from several others. Like no matter what you go in for, it ends up being about your weight. So let’s say my weight was an issue, I get it.
