There's so many more options available then what the Canadian Healthcare system would lead you to believe. I'm very thankful for this company and the team. They worked extremely fast and got my father into surgery within 2 weeks of our initial appointment. The Canadian standard of care would have left my dad damaged from radiation and on hormone therapy which actually wasn't even working. CTOAM is a fabulous educator, facilitator and companion on your cancer journey - if you choose to have some assistance. Our socialized system does not have the resources to expedite DNA blood analysis, tissue staining and sequencing as well as other offerings. If you are someone who values facing your truth/diagnosis, CTOAM is a great partner in this journey. The Team at CTOAM have been very helpful in giving me advice and guiding me through the requirements for a PET scan. I can't thank Michelle enough for being available at short notice to discuss test results. I would thoroughly recommend CTOAM as a priority to look at other options in cancer treatment outside of the Canada Health Care System.
After spending big money, I knew what I was buying and there was no guaranteed that any solution would work. My frustration was after over a year, I sent in copies of my ct/bone scans and nothing was as ever done. I never heard from anyone. My contract stated a registered nurse would be in contact on a regular basis but never heard from one.
