Mays Cancer Center discontinued their support groups during covid and never brought them back. Today 11/13 we checked in and apparently they didn't do it correctly so we waited an hour before we were called back. I had to go to the front desk before they realized their mistake. We weren't checked in. This is Oncology 6th floor.

All the people are very friendly and empathetic since our first contact (Receptionists), 'til the doctors and therapist and doctors, all of them give you emotional support to their patients, this is very important especially for the kind of sickness that they treath.

I've been trying for months to get my oncologist office to listen to me and finally got labs done to prove I'm in iron overload and still have not been seen by anyone and iron overload leads to organ damage...I'm so disappointed that I'm going to the right place, just not receiving the care that I need...what a joke, Sincerely, Gina Rinehart

My mom is being treated for stage 2 lung cancer er. After her PET scan it took 9 months before they did radiation. Took another 6 months before they did chemo. They flush the medicine in so fast it is like a fast food drive thru…get you in and out fast for next person. Her last two times with chemo were 6 hrs at a time not 30 min. She had a bad reaction to one of the two chemo drugs. There are tons of drugs that they could have tried. The only symptoms she had from the one left was leg swelling and tired.
