My 88 yr old mother was advised to go through radiation for her multiple myeloma. We supported that decision figuring the Dr knew best. What a joke! Should not have done it and I would expect a trained Dr to know that was not a good choice for a woman of her advanced age. Don't trust what the Dr says...do your research and be an advocate. The Dr should be ashamed.
