I was diagnosed with AML IN 2024. I received a stem cell transplant on April 1, 2025 at Moffitt in Tampa. I relapsed and have been receiving various treatments to try to bring the AML back into remission. Needless to say, this has been a stressful time. I gave a 1 star because it is SO hard to get thru to someone and if you do then you get put on hold and hung up on. I have been trying to get a referral for bloodwork for a while now and I keep getting told I’ll get a call back with NO call back EVER it’s very frustrating. I get they are busy & inundated with patients but I get the feel they don’t truly care nor want to help me get the care I need. I absolutely love Dr Palermo he is awesome but if this keeps happening I will be switching :/
The staff members are very friendly and professional; however, I have a few concerns. The facility tends to get crowded quickly, which can cause congestion when patients are trying to check in for their appointments while others are checking out. It might improve the flow if staff could handle patient check-outs in the back hallway area rather than at the front entrance. Another concern is that when staff members call back the next patient, they should use the patient's full name or, at the very least, their last name. While... read more
