Their payment system is totally pathetic, and also why is it that I can't schedule a payment out? It's 2026, right? Desperation isn't a good look for the City of Canby's utility department. It's also so sad that their customer service is a fat zero.
No customer service or accountability. We had new sod installed around March 2024. From the very first month after purchasing the house, our water bills were outrageously high. I contacted Canby Utility multiple times to report that something was wrong. Each time, I was told we were simply using too much water. Because the bills were so high, I had to drastically cut back on watering to prioritize basic household expenses. As a result, our lawn and garden suffered and eventually died. The customer service staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! And the water crew and electric crew are always polite when I see them out and about. We are fortunate to have a local electric and water company!
These people have the nastiest personality. Horrible customer service. Hope they can get better people to work for them.
Y’all need 100% new crews. Kinda sad honestly
