My cat sustained a nasty wound on his chest so I called the the Canberra veterinary emergency service who were very understanding and helpful. When I took him into the surgery, they were amazing, quickly prioritizing his injury and providing immediate care. All the Staff were super friendly and made me feel at ease. Very grateful for the service (on a public holiday no less) Would definitely recommend.
The team were great when my puppy Bowie ate one on my tablets. Got him in immediately, treated him and Bowie recovered well with no ill effects. Pawrents needed a good cup of tea and a good lie down though.
How blessed are we to have CVES here in Canberra! It was a freezing cold Sunday night on a long weekend, when we finally found and rescued our cat after she fell between colourbond fence panels. The team at Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service were extremely kind, compassionate and professional when caring for my Cosmo. They explained what he was going through and the options available to him. Unfortunately, this was going to be the last time I was going to be with him and the team gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my happy, playful friend of 15+ years. I’m eternally grateful for their support during this difficult time.
The team took wonderful overnight care of our dachshund following spinal surgery. They were kind and caring, ensuring we were as equally well looked after (emotionally ).
