Today was an exceptionally busy day at the vet and as such, we were triaged accordingly. This meant that my cat (who was putting on a stoic front) were waiting for a really long time. But we were given alternatives or the option to wait, which I took gladly to reduce thw stress on my boy. CVES were amazing. My elderly cat had a suspected seizure. When I arrived they took him straight in, and gave me regular updates as they treated him. All the staff were incredibly kind, kept me updated and explained in plain English the situation and options. When he was still unwell the next day and I took him back, they were just as great! In a really stressful moment, they were great and took really great care of my cat. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing out of hours care!
This was my first experience with CVES, everyone I dealt with there was patient, kind, and understanding. They were upfront with treatment and cost and tried to find the best way to help by laying out all our options and their recommendations.
All the staff were very professional and friendly on a busy Sunday morning. Our little saffy had an allergic reaction and the staff responded quickly and professionally.
Im so grateful to the team at Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service. They provided amazing emergency care to my two dogs when they needed it most. The vets and staff were kind, compassionate, and incredibly skilled. They made a really scary experience so much easier. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet emergency. They're the best!
