Avoid this group! They are incompetent. Extreme delays relating to defective AC and dishwasher and had expectations that weeds are to removed by hand.. Empty and never used gas bottles during our almost 2 year were expected to be advised / refilled. Still waiting for our bond to be returned and considering legal action.
We have owned this property in Canberra for 30+ years. We had unfortunately lost our brilliant managing agent at My Morris who moved out of rentals, and we were transferred to another Property Manager in Canberra - who were not good. I would not recommend Canberra Property Partners as an investor, they currently manage an apartment in Kingsborough Kingston and the tenant has completely destroyed the apartment, the filth and smell coming from the apartment and balcony is overwhelming and no amount of warnings from strata or BC has helped in almost 6 months. Obviously no tenant vetting was done and no inspections to check the condition. I feel for the owners of the property who are most likely completely unaware.
A absolutely awful and difficult experience as a renter with Canberra property partners. The lack of empathy, communication, and professionalism is astounding. Renters are often too afraid to speak up when they see concerning behaviour and my experience renting was filled with nothing but concerns. Everything from pressuring me to change my lease terms, taking months to resolve request for repairs, losing paperwork, being threatened by tradesman they hire, and attempting to unjustly raise rent. My experience with Canberra Property Partners has been quite disappointing. The level of professionalism was lacking, especially in communication and attention to detail. Amy, in particular, showed a clear lack of care in managing tenant issues, and important matters were often neglected or mishandled. As a tenant, I felt overlooked and not properly supported. I wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience.
