[Edit: issue has been rectified with my scans not being available on the portal, only the radiologist's report. I had to get this sorted which took time on my part. 3 MRI's $1000+ (no Medicare rebate) but for this - no actual scans on the portal or MyGov for my doctors to review for months. Staff and the actual radiology process were all very good. Happy in that respect. Canberra Imaging Calvary staff were really nice, informative, great communicators, and made it an overall better experience than expected. They were timely and I barely had to wait. The reception was also efficient and helpful. We were advised parking was a little difficult so organising a drop off and pick up added to the experience going smoothly.
I attended for an MRI today on crutches, alone, and in significant pain after a long walk from the car. I forgot my referral, which I understand was my responsibility, however the complete lack of empathy and dismissive attitude from Leanne was distressing and left me in tears. When I said I would call my doctor, I was met with further attitude and was spoken about judgementally to another receptionist. Today I attended the facility at Calvary Private Hospital. I had a Bone scan checking for metastatic cancer. Alex the technician was a delightful and respectful young man, I wish him all the best that life can give. Thank you CIG
Bit of a theme looking at older reviews. My wife tried to attend today for a scan. Her booking was for 12:00 and she arrived at 12:05 after struggling to find a car park. Waited in the waiting room till 12:45 at which point she was told she cant be fitted in anymore. For a scan that you need to book for, meaning they should have held the time for the patient.
