Medicare Mental Health Tuggeranong appears to be welcoming and accommodating, with the ability to hold a one hour initial triage meeting upon walking in. Absolutely wonderful experience with this service. Never felt like I was being rushed, or judged, and staff were always welcoming, and I always felt heard, not just partially listened to and brushed off.

I called hoping to speak with a clinician about serious mental health concerns involving my son and myself. I was clear, open, and explained the situation in depth over 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the response I received was mostly surface-level empathy (‘oh, I feel for you’) with no actual direction or support offered. I was also told they weren’t allowed to offer clinical insight due to policy restrictions.
