Dr. Canavarros just dumped all of his home care patients. His office staff created story after story regarding their lack of coverage for their in-home-care patients. Our family understood that due to recent staffing problems that there would be a wait until the PA or Nurse came to check up on my mother. And wait we did. Phone call after phone call was made, only to find out after many weeks, being told various stories and fibs from his staff, just stringing us along, that he is dropping his home care practice. The patient is a home bound Senior. He, Dr, Canavarros, advertises home visits but you never see him, you see a Physicians assistant, if your lucky, or a Nurse Practioner. When you have an urgent matter they never return phone calls or get back to you about help. Dr. Canavarros signed the patient up and it has been more than a year and we never saw him or a Doctor again.
