Dr. Gunay is great but her office is understaffed and communication and followup with her office lately has been difficult. They didnt even have time to reschedule my next appointment.
I’ve had a mixed experience with Dr. Canan Gunay. At times, it feels like there’s a bit of a disconnect between the office and the doctor, which can make coordination and follow-up more challenging. Terrible, rude & unprofessional. The medical assistant & Dr. Gunay. My daughter-in-law left in tears because of their mannerism. She was truly hoping for answers & direction & they completely dismissed her. Being a fragile type 1diabetic from the age of 9 yrs old, she was hopeful that she had found a practice that would assist her with her needs. The MA was extreamly dismissive & condescending. Absolutely horrible experience with the medical assistant and Dr. Gunay. My medical concerns were dismissed, and I felt as though I was more of a nuisance with my medical ailments rather than somebody they wanted to help and treat. I left ashamed and embarrassed. I have never in my life felt so small and so Insignificant. I was spoken to so rudely - if only I had the courage to stand up for myself when I was there.
