I had never heard of this place. If you love history and nature I suggest you visit this place. The canal has a very interesting history.
This has so much potential, but is neglected on parking and trail repairs. There's a canal boat experience here with a mule and historical tour via a canal boat. The parking lot looks like it hasn't been repaired in years with potholes all around. The canal path is even worse. Pot holes everywhere and the paved portion is not maintained either.
Beautiful area with access to the I&M Canal Trail and the I&M Canal Boat Tour. For the boat tour, you can purchase tickets at the nearby visitor center or online.
