We ordered 3,000 sq ft of sod w/ Amber, we were told it’d be ready the next day by 9am. We followed up with them before sending a crew member to pickup just to make sure it was ready due to previous experiences. Amber told us it would be ready until 1:30. We send out a guy to pickup sod, he arrives @ 1:20, sod was not ready, all the while we have 3 guys at the job site waiting since 9:30am. Sod wasnt ready until 3:15. After researching places to buy Fescue I landed at Canadian Valley Turf Farm. It actually came recommended by one of their competitors that wasn't able to provide the Fescue due to the recent rains. Anyway, made the trek up there and bought what I needed. When I got back home and laid all the rolls out I was coming up short. I knew my math was right I had 80 Sq Ft I needed covered. I am a landscaping pro and have installed a good deal of sod. These folks have some of the best fescue that I have ever used. Great grass and friendly staff.

I highly recommend avoiding business with this company, unless of course you enjoy being treated in a derogatory manner by Mr. Roberts. They installed my sod as a sub for my pool builder. His crew spoke little English, and when asked to move sod from a non-irrigated area to fill in some gaps where it was needed, I was met with blank stares and excuses. first off, i did not get my Sod from CVS - arrangements were made to use another provider by our builder. However, I had some questions on the proper care of our sod and wasn't able to contact the original installer. I called Canadian Valley and was impressed by how helpful and knowledgeable they were. I was given great instruction on how to care for the new sod, deal with weeds, and when to water it. I was impressed by their willingness to help me out considering I wasn't their customer.
