Beautiful stone, great DIY option. Counters were quite late tho and communication with respect to delays was lacking.
Canadian Soapstone have the ability to do beautiful countertops but they made three errors and the last one has never been corrected despite allowing Paul more than enough time. One sink was incorrectly cut and I was able to spend several hours making a new cut myself. The entire peninsula part of the kitchen was incorrect and Can Soapstone had to deliver new slabs which took months and the two window ledges were two inches short. We have lovely new countertops (and a few tabletops) thanks to the exceptional service and workmanship from the team at Canadian Soapstone. The team is professional, friendly and patient - no question left unanswered and lots of great advice provided. The product was installed very well and is a beautiful addition to our home. We are delighted!
Recently a friend made me a burger on a soap stone and I had no clue… Originally I thought it was the meat because it was from a local butcher but after grilling up another one a couple days later I realized it didn't taste or look anything like it. Perplexed I asked him what he did differently because we both made it on the Q and he told me it was made on this glorious cooking stone so I had to get one for myself! 10/10 one of the best burgers I ever had.
Installed some Canadian Soapstone and we loved how easy it was. Our client loves their new bathroom and shower. Super happy!
