The communication was great, but there was a bit of a hiccup during delivery. We figured it all out in the end, though. Overall, it was a good experience. The prices were very competitive. The delivery took longer than expected, and then there was an issue with the package. CSS didn’t put my name or address on it, it ended up with my concierge. The package got misplaced, but it was eventually found, and everything turned out okay.
Not sure what else to do now but to share my experience publicly. In August I ordered what at first glance was a carbon monoxide detector. Within 5 minutes of placing the online order I noticed it was just a smoke detector. I immediately emailed Canadian Smart Systems customer service explaining the error and requesting cancellation of the order. No response. I sought out for a tech company to help with my home automation, specifically my living room. Canadian smart systems proved beyond accommodating when we took on this project. Our fully automated TV, surround sound and lighting system made for an elegant and imursive experience any time we use it. My recent purchase of the ADC-T40K-HD went smoothly and the rep how called to confirm the purchase was friendly and awesome. However I wish I knew before hand about having to need and have available for use (if currently not in use) a C-Wire. I found out after looking though the manual and YouTube video how to tell if you have a C-Wire.
