Awful experience! It does not matter having an appointment or not, even it does not matter when to come! The least important thing here is your time!
Before the plasma donation began, I had to wait 2 hours. Thanks to the company's management for leaving the market without competitors by buying up competitors. Now there is one donor center for a city of a million, which is always overcrowded, the staff gets pennies. The market has solved everything, thanks to the liberals.
This time I was left waiting for more that 30 minutes from the time my appointment was booked….every time actually I end up waiting…The last time I came, I showed up 30 minutes early for my appointment time to see if that helped and I still waited 40 minutes after my appointment time….so then I was so annoyed I didn’t come back for 6 months. So then I had to show something with my SIN AGAIN…And what does asking a person for their SIN number do anyways when a person has to show photo ID? Very frustrating for those donating!
This place is great except the wait times can be ridiculous. Today was the second time that I needed to leave because I could simply not wait any longer. Appointment was for 1:15-1:30 and I was screaned and approved but needed to see the nurse. At 1:55pm I was still waiting to see he nurse and there were 4 people ahead of me. There you are in the chair for at least another 40 minutes. And all for $30-35. Time is money as they say. You need to hire more staff but also need to increase compensation.
I have been coming here for nearly two years, but over the past few months the quality and safety have declined significantly. The new system has created unreasonable delays, with wait times of 1.5 to 2 hours before even being allowed into the donation hall—even when arriving on time for an appointment. Previously, the staff were excellent, but the new team has been disappointing.
