Really bad experience. I asked for in person intake. They gave me a phone intake instead and the counselor didn't even call me. So sad and disappointing when we reach out for help and the very place that is supposed to be helpful just makes your mental health worse.
I am writing this review because the public deserves to know how deeply the system has failed vulnerable people and their families. The services provided by the Canadian Mental Health Association in Kelowna are supposed to protect and support people experiencing serious mental health challenges. Instead, what many families experience is neglect, indifference, and a complete lack of accountability. Families are left begging for help while watching their loved ones deteriorate. If you want you or your loved ones to be treated like a stain on a mattress look no further this is the place for you. Flagrent waste of funding and almost everyone employed there subscribes to the notion that their time is more valuable than you.
