Watching my wife deal with Canada Life has been infuriating. This is supposed to be support when someone is medically unable to work—yet the reality has been payment delays of up to six weeks, plus regular missed and late payments. Canada Life also fails to follow its own payment schedule, so there’s no consistency and no ability to plan for rent, groceries, or bills. Worst insurance plan i've ever been apart of. The extensive carve-outs and limitations don't cover much. I'd recommend Sunlife, Manulife and even blue cross. Canada life has it set-up to pay as little as possible.
Absolutely the worst benefit plan I have ever been a part of. Barely covers anything. These plans need to start covering things that are more than doctor and big pharma prescriptions. There are a lot of treatments out there that need to be covered. This one barely covers prescriptions and the. You have to jump through a ton of hoops to get anything covered. But this is the cheapest money can buy and every employer are all about giving as little to workers as they can. Absolutely pathetic plans
