Please don’t fall for their website like I did. Nothing on it is true. The place is a disaster. Then my family thought I was complaining just to get out of rehab when I told them how bad it was and wouldn’t believe me. CCFA grossly took advantage of my relationship with my family and it took time I should have been able to use my on o on my recovery to get them to see I was not lying and trying to get out of rehab. For once I wanted to get better and no one would believe me because CCFA is just a business looking for cash.
As someone who has seen first hand how this place operates from clients to staff, I will give you a brutally honest review of the whole place. To start, the only counsellors that are good are Hope, Joe, Trevor and Tim. I excluded Denise because she LITERALLY YELLS at clients AND her coworkers.There have been several complaints made against Denise about her behaviour and management does nothing about it. I came to this treatment centre at one of the lowest points of my life. I had recently attempted suicide, my bulimia was completely out of control, and I had just come off a binge of drinking to numb the pain — something that was new and honestly scary for me. When I discovered that my sister was in trouble with drugs I immediately searched for a rehab centre for her to go to to help her get clean. After doing some research CCFA sounded like the best option for her. I’m so glad I made that choice because they truly saved her life. Her time there was overwhelmingly a positive experience and she learned so much on her path to recovery.
