Went to give blood and brought my 7 year old daughter “to view the experience “ the lady at the front and her age. Told her 7 and then she states she had to be 9 to come in with me . I said she’s not giving blood just here to watch. No she had to be 9 or I can’t . I turn 65 this year and after I reach 125 donations I will be calling it quits. I would consider continuing but all the changes over the years have made the whole donation experience less and less enjoyable. I understand that changes were and will always be necessary but "jumping" through all these hoops, for a donor has, for me, become very much of a chore and the donation experience has lost it's positive experience. Nothing bad to say about the staff. They are probably the last thing positive about giving blood. Sincerely... read more
I went there for my 3rd time and I don’t feel going again there. Rude person who checks blood pressure prior to giving blood . They need more trained staff for that position.

They clearly don't need blood as badly as they say they do. I've been turned away from the (rude) receptionist the last 3 times I've tried to donate because they are "appointment only", despite there being nobody waiting. The receptionist I've dealt with each time is possibly one of the rudest people I've met. Even my children, who clearly have better manners than her, commented when we were leaving "why is she so mean?".
